Willard Gaeddert, a founding and active member of the Center for Peace and Justice, died September 4. The Dunkirk-Fredonia Center for Peace and Justice will next meet on Thursday September 9 at 7:30 pm at Growing with Music/Thrifty Reader Bookstore (Barlow's Mill), located at 369 West Main St., Fredonia. (It is one mile from downtown Fredonia, past Farrell's Chrysler Car Dealership. Traveling from Fredonia to Brocton, it is on the right side of West Main.) All are welcome. CPJ's annual garage sale will be Saturday September 18 at the home of Rodney and Joan Houck, 146 Central Ave., Fredonia. This is a major fundraiser for CPJ. More details will be forthcoming. Thank you for your support and assistance. Dedication of Peace Pole in Dunkirk, September 25

There will be a dedication service for the placement of CPJ's peace pole at Dunkirk's Memorial Park on Saturday September 25 at 2:00 pm. All are welcome. "War Is Not the Answer" yard signs available

"War Is Not the Answer" signs from the Friends Committee on National Legislation (FCNL) are available from Caitlin O'Reilly.
